Front wheel drive wheelchairs are both capable indoor and outdoor, however, if you feel that you spend more time of your day inside your house, office environment and just want exceptional manoeuvrability. If you have limited hand control or use, for example, a chin control, it is highly recommended to use front wheel drive chairs.
Rear wheel drive wheelchairs are for use both outdoor and indoor, however, if you spend a lot more of time outdoors and require a faster wheelchair, the rear wheel drive wheelchair is an option. Rear wheel drive chairs are not as manoeuvrable and speciality control devices work better for the customer on front wheel drive wheelchairs.
